Terex Utilities has launched a new e-commerce platform to support all customers and give them the type of online shopping experience today’s buyers have come to expect.
This new e-commerce platform offers one-stop shopping for tools and accessories used in the utilities industry and beyond. Many of these products had previously only been available through a traditional catalog. Hundreds of products can be ordered, from climbing equipment to traffic safety gear to Terex auger tools. New customers can self-register for an account, place orders by credit card, view order status, track shipments and see invoices.
For existing Terex customers – including rental partners and dealers who previously had access to an e-commerce platform – the new platform comes with a host of new and upgraded features. Online parts manuals for many of our units are now browsable from this website and allow for simple click-to-cart functionality. In addition, parts are searchable by keyword, part number and category, making part identification or discovery easier than ever.
For existing Terex account holders, request online access at https://parts.terex.com/. For new customer and retail sales, browse the catalog at https://myparts.terex.com/.

The patent-pending Direct Embed Pole Stabilization (DEPS) system from LineWise is a new bracing system for holding concrete or steel poles in place while pouring concrete or FlowFill. This cost-effective solution offers a quick and easy setup that significantly reduces equipment and labor costs, in addition to other benefits, during the installation of direct embed poles.
The DEPS system consists of two adjustable pole braces for each pole that is being stabilized. The pole braces are first chained or strapped to the base section of a pole. Then, the anchor plates are staked into the ground, and the pole is then plumbed by simply extending or retracting the braces. The entire process can be completed in several minutes.
Compared to the traditional alternatives of using forklifts, telehandlers or dead-man concrete anchors to support poles during construction, the DEPS system eliminates the cost of equipment rentals, machine maintenance, fuel and other various tools. The system also offers a lower environmental footprint, as it helps cut job-site emissions and results in fewer ruts created on rights-of-way due to less vehicle and equipment traffic.
Fully contracted, the DEPS system is 7.5 feet in length, allowing it to be transported in a pickup bed or on a gooseneck trailer. It requires no routine maintenance, provides a long service life and is made of 100% recyclable material.

The Voyager VBSD3 Blind Spot Detection System is designed to increase driver awareness by bringing familiar automotive industry technology to the commercial vehicle environment. The newest addition to Voyager’s line of sensor safety systems uses radar technology to detect vehicles and other obstructions in the blind zone of the vehicle as well as rear cross traffic.
When an object is detected in the blind zone, the driver will be alerted by an LED light beacon installed in the cab. In addition to this visual warning, an audible warning will sound if an object is detected in the blind zone while the turn signal is on. The Rear Cross Traffic Alert System will issue these same warnings when the vehicle is in reverse.
ASA Electronics takes pride in designing Voyager products that are durable enough for heavy-duty and commercial environments. The VBSD3 radar sensors are protected by a rugged, waterproof housing to weather the elements of life on the road.

DICA has debuted a new addition to the ProStack Cribbing product line. ProStack Slot Lock Cribbing Blocks are engineered to stack and lock together, giving users the ability to safely gain needed cribbing height in unlevel conditions. Developed with customer input, the new lighter-weight and lower-cost ProStack product is designed for use with the types of equipment used in utility, tree care, concrete construction, and crane and rigging markets.
The setup of a SafetyTech Base Pad and two ProStack Blocks has a 100,000-pound working load limit and a maximum allowable pressure of 500 psi. Slot Lock flanges interlock with a DICA SafetyTech base pad and with each subsequent block layer when positioned in alternating directions. Each layer increases cribbing height by 5 inches, and the surface allows room for outrigger feet measuring up to 18 inches by 18 inches.
Each ProStack Slot Lock block weighs less than 30 pounds, which minimizes operator fatigue and provides quick setup and breakdown times. Molded grips make it easy for one person to carry and position blocks, even when wearing gloves. TuffGrip handles can be added as an option to facilitate carrying two blocks at once. DICA’s Hi-Viz orange TuffGrip handles are waterproof and resistant to UV light, hydraulic fluids and road chemicals.
Unlike most cribbing solutions commonly deployed in the field, ProStack’s engineered material is extremely strong and impervious to weather and job site conditions. ProStack Cribbing is made from a combination of post-consumer recycled material and additives to produce a strong, reliable and environmentally friendly solution. All ProStack cribbing products are warrantied for 25 years against rot, insect infestation, splitting, cracking and splintering.
Bigfoot Construction Equipment now offers an outrigger pad made of their custom composite beneath a strong wooden pad. This layering process enables the wood to last longer since the plastic composite keeps the upper wooden pad away from water.

Venturo, a leading producer of truck- and van-equipped cranes, has released an advanced control system that provides safety, control and reliability for its line of fully hydraulic service cranes. The new Venturo Logic Controls crane control management system provides enhanced control of capacities throughout a crane’s load operation.
Benefits of the VLC system include overload protection, vehicle stability and grade indications, real-time load and status updates, safety alerts, and wireless or CAN communication. These features keep operators on top of crane operation and prevent potential damage to loads and injuries to job site staff.
Features like overload protection offer additional benefits, such as increased payload capacity on service trucks and decreased waiting time on job sites, which accounts for 63% of total labor time. This improved efficiency helps crews move a greater amount of material with fewer people, saving money and protecting workers.
Standard for the new VLC system, operators receive a wireless-remote, pistol-grip controller. This controller offers less fatigue and increased comfort with over 60 hours of battery life; a four-line, 20-character screen display; seven two-way toggle switches; and four momentary push buttons. It also keeps the user experience intuitive in either 2.4-GHz wireless or wired cable operation.
Venturo’s VLC crane control management system will become a standard feature on the entire Venturo hydraulic service crane product line.

ASA Electronics has expanded its line of sensor systems with the CVPS18 four-channel system. The CVPS18 is an easy, economical way to outfit virtually any vehicle with the latest safety technology. The four ultrasonic, weatherproof sensors are easy to install and can be painted to match the color of the vehicle, making them a universal solution for aftermarket application.
The CVPS18 sensors are designed to detect objects within a 5-foot range of the rear bumper without requiring any calibration to aid in backing up or parking the vehicle. When the vehicle is in reverse, the sensors will trigger a speaker in the cab to emit an audible alert if an object should happen to get too close.
As the vehicle continues to back up, or as the object moves closer, the beeping will become more frequent. If the object comes within 16 inches of the bumper, a solid tone will sound. The audio speaker has three volume levels – low, high and off – to suit driver preferences.
The CVPS18 sensor system can be used in conjunction with other Voyager observation products, like backup cameras and monitors, to create a comprehensive safety system.

The BIG GRIP pad from Bigfoot can be installed on any of the company’s custom composite outrigger pads. Used facedown, the BIG GRIP’s teeth bite into ice, mud and snow to significantly reduce slipping on those and other slick surfaces.
Bigfoot also has built the Slick Willie, a new socket set that has never been built before anywhere. The set is made with and without a tool board. With no tool board on the back, we install rare earth magnets on the backside, which keep the set attached to metal objects. Other features include self-lubricating material that will extend the life of tools being stored in this socket set; crush resistant with 3000 psi values; and guaranteed for life under normal working conditions.
