VanTech Engineering was born in the spring of 1960. The first product was components for racing Go-Carts. After a time, complete Go-Carts were made which led to racing motorcycles. As the motorcycle business changed, the company started its sewing history in 1968 by making components for motorcycle helmets and later, motorcycle jackets.SafetyLine products were started in 1981 by taking the motorcycle jackets and adapting them for use by Cal-Trans. Over the past two decades, the SafetyLine trademark has expanded to many different high visibility products that are marketed world wide.
